Mother's Day weekend is finally over. That means the aching heap that my body currently is can finally rest up and get prepared for other events. (Hopefully none soon though) If I wasn't so exhausted I will tell you how badly my feet have ached and throbbed the last two days or how insane it was. For all of those that do not know, I work at a small (small house size) tea house and restraunt. A majority of the front is a "gift" shop of sorts while the entire back end is the restraunt. It's a very quaint place, especially if you are looking for something a little Victorian and a little mish-mashed. It's certainly more fun to eat there than it is to work there.

Anyway, the place is small, and I think, if all seats are filled, it can hold around 50-60 maybe 70 at the most. I may be giving in more credit than there actually is though. Anyway, on Saturday there were 217 people; I went in at 10am and did not leave until 9pm... As you can imagine, I was very, very tired. Sunday/Today there were roughly 250+ people; I went in at 9:30am and did not leave until 7:00pm (only because we closed earlier today)... My body aches, I'm constantly on a cement floor so my feet ached; until just a bit ago (Mmmm... soaked in hot water...), and I am covered in war scars. (biffs, bashes, and lacerations.)

I think my biggest bitch... Is that I worked 11.17 hours on Sat. with only half an hour break and 9.60 hours on Sun/Today with only a... half an hour break. <_<; Shouldn't we get at least an hour break for that? Seriously? -_-;;;

But yes... It is finally over, tomorrow I have the day off, then it's straight back to work on Tuesday. I'm just glad it's gone for another year. There is nothing enjoyable about this particular weekend.
