E-M-O, right? Well, Mala isn't really emo. But, you know, it's all metaphoric, of course. But... to explain would take some time. So, to put it simply, he watched his master die a most gruesome death. And, at that time, it came clear what his master had done to him all those years. He's emotionally, and mentally scarred, and it will take a while to heal...

This was amazingly fun, yet sorta hard to do. I started it forever ago... Like two months, and just barely finished it. I almost gave up on it... >_> But, now it is finished. One of the biggest pictures I have done in a while.
(should I mark this mature?)

Done in about 12 hours. Media: Bristol paper, printer paper(used Word to print out words), cardstock, copic markers, yellow crayola colored pencil, watercolors, inking pens. Listened to a lot during it, the most fresh in my mind being I Heard a Voice, AFI's concert DVD.

I'm loving the way you did that background, with all the cut out words. Gives it texture on an aesthetic level and a good background on the character for us n00bs.
